Ashley Burton, DDS
Dr. Ashley Burton was born in Utah, but grew up in California, Idaho, Georgia, and Ohio. After living all over the country, she is excited to now call Ogden Valley home. It might have been the braces, the expanders, or when she knocked her front tooth out on a trampoline that Dr. Ashley knew that becoming a dentist was the career for her. Dr. Ashley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ohio Northern University, where she was also a 4-year starter for the soccer team and ran track in the off season. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The Ohio State University where she also met her charming husband and Valley native, Brigham Burton. They had the opportunity to practice together in Ohio for several years after dental school. Dr. Ashley enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but especially enjoys treating children and doing cosmetic dental procedures. She also enjoys being a mom; she and Dr. Brigham Burton have two young sons and two daughters. Dr. Ashley is an avid runner, and also loves family time, sushi restaurants, and traveling.
Brigham Burton, DDS
Dr. Brigham Burton was raised in Huntsville, Utah and is thrilled to be back here in the Ogden Valley. He was a former patient of Dr. Iverson’s and gained his desire to be a dentist, in part, from years of visiting Dr. Iverson here in our Eden office. He attended Valley Elementary, Snowcrest Jr., and graduated from Weber High. He attended Weber State University on a symphony orchestra scholarship playing the cello and earned his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Chemistry. He received his dental training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Go Buckeyes! After graduating, Dr. Burton completed an advanced training residency at the University of Utah hospital where he received special training in some of his favorite aspects of dentistry, including I.V. sedation, dental implants surgery, treatment of dental trauma, and wisdom tooth removal. Prior to joining the practice here in the Valley, he practiced in Zanesville, Ohio. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. His dental degree wasn’t his only accomplishment from his school days in Ohio; he also was able to convince the prettiest girl in the dental school to marry him. He and Dr. Ashley Burton have four young kids whose smiles will melt even the coldest heart, guaranteed. Some of the Burton family’s favorite activities include hitting the slopes at the local ski resorts, boating on Pineview, and biking. He enjoys renewing old acquaintances and meeting all the new faces here in Ogden Valley.
